Popular Manosphere Streamer Clavicular Hospitalized After Suspected Overdose During Livestream

Braden Eric Peters, known online as Clavicular, a 20-year-old influencer prominent in the manosphere community, was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, April 14, following a suspected overdose while livestreaming. Sources report that Peters is currently in stable condition and remains hospitalized.

Earlier that day, Clavicular was livestreaming from a Miami mall alongside two other influencers. During the stream, they interacted with several people, including a young woman who appeared intoxicated and was slurring her speech. This incident follows a recent stunt in which Clavicular experienced convulsions during a chokehold demonstration.

At one point in the livestream, Peters told the woman, “Holy s— dude, I’m trying my best, but I’m f—ing destroyed right now,” repeating the statement multiple times. The group later moved to a bar, where after being asked, “When did you last take blue?”

Clavicular suddenly slumped forward. Shortly thereafter, the live feed on the streaming platform Kick abruptly ended.

A video subsequently circulated on social media showing Clavicular being carried by several individuals to a black car as emergency responders arrived at the scene. The sounds of sirens were audible, and flashing lights illuminated the area. Miami Fire Rescue officials have been contacted but have not yet issued a statement.

Androgenic, one of the influencers present during the incident, addressed fans on the social media platform X, stating, “I hadn’t seen him in this state before, and he went from speaking to being fairly unresponsive in mere seconds. Within a minute, we all realised the situation, turned the stream off, picked him up and rushed him to the hospital.”

This hospitalization follows Clavicular’s contentious exit from a recent interview with 60 Minutes Australia that aired on April 12. During the interview, host Adam Hegarty questioned Peters about his associations with controversial figures like Andrew Tate.

The line of questioning appeared to frustrate Clavicular, who accused the interviewer of trying to politicize the discussion. He referenced a prior interview with Piers Morgan that he said became overly political and rebuffed attempts to discuss personal matters, stating, “I’m not doing any political jestering.”

Clavicular has attracted criticism for his promotion of “looksmaxxing,” a subculture emphasizing extreme physical self-improvement to enhance appearance. His methods reportedly include bone manipulation techniques, steroid use, and other controversial practices. He has openly admitted to using methamphetamine to maintain low body fat and allegedly began testosterone therapy as early as age 14.
