Jennifer Taggart announced this week that her Gordon Square ice cream shop, Lake Erie Scoops, will close on or around April 30 after nearly four years in business.
“This space has been so much more than ice cream—it’s been a place of connection, creativity, and community. I’m incredibly grateful for the neighborhood that embraced Lake Erie Scoops, and for every collaboration, conversation, and moment shared along the way. I’m deeply proud of the products we created and the partnerships we built together,” she shared on social media.
“Running a small business on my own has been an incredibly meaningful experience—but it also comes with a level of pressure that can be hard to sustain. Right now, I need to take time to rest, reflect, and regroup,” she added…
