Kentucky mother still waiting for answers after son dies in jail

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The family of Juan Miguel Munoz Penalver is still waiting for answers after Penalver died in a Louisville jail on Feb. 26.

The mother of a young man who died while in custody at Louisville’s jail said she is still seeking answers. Meanwhile, the ACLU of Kentucky is calling on the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections to make changes to prevent overcrowding and deaths at the jail.
