A Marion County school bus was struck in a hit-and-run crash the morning of April 13, and five students onboard were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an orange and blue pickup truck traveling west on Southeast 145th Street near the intersection of Southeast 38th Terrace failed to stop behind a bus that was stopped and picking up students.
