The Vancouver Fire and Clark County Fire District 3 responded to a call around 9 p.m. at 9304 NE 227th Avenue.
Officials said the fire started in the kitchen and quickly escalated. The family quickly evacuated but were unable to take the pets with them.
As units headed to the area, dispatchers informed them about the pets, and firefighters quickly entered the building to look for them…
