Fugitive arrested 10 years after Memphis high school student killed

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fugitive was arrested Friday in Illinois 10 years after a Trezevant High School student, Ryan Gilliam, was killed, according to U.S. Marshals.

Terry Johnson, 36, was arrested in Peoria, Illinois, by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.

On April 10, MSTF investigators had information that Johnson had relocated to Illinois and sent a lead on Friday to the USMS GLRFTF, who found him and took him into custody.
