A proposed Sheetz gas station will head back to the Toledo City Plan Commission after a technicality prevented it from moving forward to Toledo City Council.
Sheetz is requesting a special use permit to open a gas station on the corner of Monroe Street and Nantuckett Drive in West Toledo. The city’s zoning code requires a special use permit for gasoline and fuel sales at properties that are zoned CR Regional Commercial.
The request came before the plan commission in March, where commission members Emory Whittington III and Eric Grosswiler recommended that Toledo City Council approve the special use permit.
