Fare evasion on Charlotte public transportation costing millions each year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The city of Charlotte’s public transportation system is losing out on millions of dollars a year because of people who don’t pay to ride the light rail or buses.

Charlotte Area Transit System leaders revealed that number to city council members on Tuesday, April 14.
