More than 37,000 gallons of partially treated wastewater discharged into Sycamore Creek Mason, officials say

MASON, Mich. (WILX) – More than 37,000 gallons of partially treated wastewater spilled from the new Mason wastewater treatment plant into Sycamore Creek, officials with the City of Mason announced on Wednesday.

In total, 37,170 gallons of water were discharged into Sycamore Creek, caused by the heavy rain in the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
