Man sentenced to life for 2020 shooting of ASU student

Ivry Hall, who was found guilty for the murder of Alabama State University (ASU) student Adam Dowdell in 2020, has been sentenced to life in prison.

According to an announcement from Montgomery County District Attorney Azzie Oliver Hall, a Chicago resident, reportedly shot Dowdell after leaving the campus together in September of 2020 before he confessed to a priest when he returned.
