AUSTIN, Texas — Central Texas is getting a brief break from wet weather, but the calm conditions won’t last long as a cold front is set to bring rain, storms, and cooler temperatures back to the region this weekend.
Dry and Warm End to the Week
After recent scattered showers faded, the weather across Austin and surrounding areas is expected to remain mostly dry through the end of the workweek.
Overnight conditions will bring increasing cloud cover, with lows settling into the upper 60s by early morning.
