CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the below areas in Northeast Ohio on Thursday afternoon.
- Northeast Stark County – until 4 p.m.
- Eastern Trumbull County – until 4 p.m.
- Southeastern Portage County – until 4:30 p.m.
The NWS reports that at 3:37 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Alliance, or 13 miles northeast of Canton, moving east at 50 mph. The storm may produce wind gusts of 60 mph and quarter size hail. Minor damage to vehicles is possible, along with damage to trees and power lines.
