ANN ARBOR, MI — Cold Truth Soft Serve will spend the next seven months serving its plant-based ice cream at Bløm Mead + Cider, 100 S. Fourth Ave., in Ann Arbor, beginning this month, according to an April 15 press release.
The Detroit-based vendor makes its soft serve from scratch using coconut cream sourced from Southeast Asia and beet sugar from Michigan, the press release states. The products are prepared at the company’s commissary kitchen in Detroit’s Eastern Market and contain no mixes.
