Crews extinguish travel trailer fire in Lochloosa area

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla.- Early this morning, fire crews extinguished a fire that engulfed a 24-foot travel trailer in the Lochloosa area of southeastern Alachua County.

At about 4:20 a.m. on April 16, units from Alachua County Fire Rescue, Melrose Fire Department, and the Cross Creek Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the Lochloosa area of southeastern Alachua County. Units arrived to find a 24-foot travel trailer fully engulfed by flames and quickly controlled the fire to prevent spread to other travel trailers and vegetation nearby. Crews were able to put the fire out about five minutes after arriving at the scene…
