Forsyth County man charged with statutory rape after nearly 3-year-long investigation

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A Belews Creek man has been charged with statutory rape following a nearly three-year-long investigation, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 24, 2023, the FCSO began investigating a sexual assault case that happened in the 6100 block of Vance Road in Kernersville, where a juvenile reported that an acquaintance of the family assaulted them.

59-year-old man accused of rape in Burlington

Jason William Hutchens, 45, of Belews Creek, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of felony statutory rape of a child under the age of 15.
