A Lowndes County jury found a man guilty Wednesday, April 15, of a 2019 murder.
According to District Attorney Charlotte Tesmer, Tyanis Lawrence, 30, of Tyler, was found guilty on one count of murder for the 2019 shooting death of Savill Rush, 33. Rush, a Collirene native, was shot multiple times at a horse show in Lowndes County — and later succumbed to his injuries.
