DAVIS, Calif. — The City of Davis is reminding residents and visitors to plan ahead for road closures, parking restrictions and increased safety enforcement during Picnic Day on Saturday.
According to the Davis Police Department, road closures in the downtown area will begin around 9 a.m. to accommodate the Picnic Day parade.
“Hard” closures along the parade route will remain in place until the event concludes around 1 p.m., while “soft” closures will affect nearby surrounding streets during the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. timeframe…
