San Elizario man arrested after alleged hit-and-run into utility pole near middle school

SAN ELIZARIO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man from San Elizario on Wednesday after he allegedly fled the scene after he crashed into a utility pole.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Ricardo Paiz was identified as the suspect in a crash that happened at around 6:10 p.m., near the intersection of Glorietta Road and Luisa Guerra Drive in San Elizario (near San Elizario Middle School), where a car hit an electric pole.
