UI Moving Forward With Medical Education Expansion Plans

The University of Idaho is moving forward with plans for expanding medical education.

The Idaho State Board of Education this week approved a new partnership with North Idaho College and plans for medical educational space in Boise.

The UI and NIC in Coeur d’Alene have signed a deal for a new Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing program. Those classes are scheduled to launch in Coeur d’Alene in the fall of next year. According to a UI press release, Idaho has one of the most severe nursing shortages in the country…
