Utah receiver Omarion Sanders takes in a Minnesota spring practice

With the Big Ten now a coast-to-coast league, the Gophers are recruiting in states that haven’t usually had a large presence. Utah fits that description, and one prospect they’re keeping a close eye on is Lehi’s Omarion Sanders. He took a Tuesday trip to check out a Minnesota spring practice, and Sanders detailed how it went with 247.

“They first took us to the facility and showed us around. I then got to have a personal meeting with receivers coach Isaac Fruechte and head coach P.J. Fleck,” Sanders said to 247Sports. “After that, I got to sit in on the team meeting and receiver meeting, then we went out to practice, and I ate dinner with some of the receivers and Coach Fruechte and Faus.”
