A Las Vegas man was recently arrested after allegedly renting a mini skid steer from a Cedar City home improvement store nearly one year ago and failing to return the equipment.
Anthony Jermaine Collins, 47, was booked into Iron County Jail on April 7. He faces one count of theft of more than $5,000 in value, a second-degree felony, and one count of false evidence of title and registration, a class C misdemeanor.
According to the probable cause statement filed in support of the arrest, on or about April 24, 2025, Collins allegedly went into The Home Depot in Cedar City and used a false name to rent a skid steer, along with its trailer and attachments…
