Finding Solutions: Salvation Army hosts fundraising events for new Augusta shelter

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Salvation Army of Augusta is hosting two community events this weekend to raise funds and awareness for a new Center of Hope shelter on Hale Street.

The organization needs to raise $800,000 before construction can begin on the facility, which will house more people than the current shelter.
