Man accused of arson during investigation into series of fires in Simpsonville

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reports charging a man with arson as part of an investigation into a series of fires on a property in Simpsonville.

Deputies said 45-year-old James Adee Larsen was charged with third degree arson after setting fire to a garage and shed on New Harrison Bridge Road on Monday. He lived next to the property.

Previous incidents of fire on the unoccupied property have also been reported. There were two fires to a double-wide mobile home on Mar. 14 and Mar. 23, according to deputies.
