New 31-Story Rental Tower Muscles Into Downtown Brooklyn Skyline

Construction has wrapped on a 31-story residential tower at the corner of Prince and Tillary Streets in Downtown Brooklyn, bringing 465 new rental apartments to the neighborhood. Roughly 120 of those homes are set aside as affordable units, alongside ground-floor retail space and a long list of amenities clearly aimed at the modern, convenience-obsessed renter.

According to New York YIMBY, the 436,600-square-foot project, designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Maddd Equities, now stands fully enclosed in a facade of floor-to-ceiling windows and charcoal-hued metal paneling with gold vertical accent beams. The outlet reports that the tower delivers 465 rental units and about 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, with the main entrance tucked beneath a canopy along the Prince Street side.
