Three people were shot, one fatally, outside a strip mall near the intersection of Knight Arnold and Mendenhall roads in southeast Memphis on the evening of April 16, the Memphis Police Department confirmed.
MPD Public Information Officer Theresa Carlson said officers responded to a shooting at 3193 Mendenhall Rd. at 4:37 p.m. Three men with gunshot wounds were located at the scene and transported to the hospital in critical condition. One man later died at the hospital.
“The suspect is described as a Black male wearing all black clothing, who fled southbound on Mendenhall in a silver sedan. Preliminary information indicates this was a targeted shooting,” Carlson said…
