(FOX40.COM) — One person was killed and two others critically injured after a Sacramento Regional Transit train collided with a car in Rancho Cordova on Thursday afternoon.
Sacramento Metropolitan fire officials said they responded to the incident between a vehicle and a light rail train near Folsom Boulevard and Mills Park Drive around 5:21 p.m.
Fire officials said three people were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. One person had to be extricated because their foot was trapped.
