TAMPA, Florida — A federal jury has convicted 37-year-old Justin Alan Seymour, of Tampa, on charges of Hobbs Act Robbery, brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The conviction stems from an incident in October 2024, when Seymour robbed a pizza store in Tampa, pointing a gun at the store clerk, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. Law enforcement made a breakthrough in the case by obtaining dashcam footage from a delivery vehicle parked outside the store, which helped identify unique characteristics of the suspect’s vehicle.
