BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Wednesday after a drug investigation in Baton Rouge.
According to the sheriff’s office, EBRSO Narcotics Agents and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) were investigating a Baton Rouge area fentanyl trafficker. CPSO was investigating a trafficker in their jurisdiction and learned that the source their suspect received supplies from was someone in Baton Rouge. That alleged supplier was identified as Deondrick Lucas, 22.
EBRSO agents knew Lucas, as he was arrested during a 2025 drug investigation. It should be noted that he is out on bond for that case…
