Texas Freeze Watch: Panhandle braces for subfreezing weekend temps

A strong cold front is set to sweep across Texas this weekend, bringing a sharp temperature drop and an April freeze threat to parts of the Texas Panhandle.

Amarillo is under a Freeze Watch late Friday through Saturday morning, according to the local National Weather Service (NWS) Office.
