Ferrucci Junior High students move to temporary learning plan after fire

PUYALLUP, Wash. — The Puyallup School District has announced a temporary learning plan for Ferrucci Junior High students from April 20 through May 1, following a fire that damaged the campus.

In an update on April 14, the district said the campus will remain closed through the end of the week due to fire damage and safety requirements preventing staff and crews from entering the building.

“Due to the scope of restoration and cleanup needed, the building will not be usable for the remainder of this week and for the following two weeks,” the district said…
