AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – An aircraft accident has occurred at Daniel Field Airport, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed.
“Public safety personnel are actively working to secure the scene and assess the situation,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement on Friday.
Upon arrival on April 17, deputies said they located a single-engine aircraft that had “overshot the runway at Daniel Field and subsequently collided with a fence shared by the airfield and The Patch.”…
