At approximately 4:00 p.m. on April 15, 2026, a brush fire broke out near Yearling Drive and Baldwin Avenue in Jurupa Valley, quickly spreading through vegetation and threatening nearby homes.
Fire crews from multiple agencies responded and encountered flames moving at a moderate rate in the immediate vicinity of residential areas. Air resources, including fixed-wing tankers and helicopters, began water and retardant drops shortly before 5:00 p.m., helping to slow the forward progress of the fire.
