Lincoln man found guilty of selling fentanyl pill linked to overdose death

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man has been found guilty of selling a fentanyl pill tied to a 2023 overdose death.

Michel Mikaya, 35, was convicted of distributing a hazardous drug Wednesday in Lancaster County District Court.

Mikaya was charged with delivery of a controlled substance on June 17, 2024, after investigators accused him of selling a fentanyl pill that they believe killed a 28-year-old man.
