IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A missing swimmer was recovered after reportedly drowning in Lake Norman on Friday afternoon, emergency officials confirmed.
Emergency crews responded to the lake around 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said it was responding to a “lake incident.” Iredell County officials confirmed multiple agencies were dispatched to the lake.
