Charleston County approves tax incentives for workforce housing project

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A new five-story apartment complex with 165 units will be built on a vacant lot in North Charleston as part of Charleston County’s effort to increase workforce housing.

The Rivers Landing project is part of the county’s Tax Abatement Program, which provides financial incentives to developers who include workforce housing in their developments.
