SANGER – A long-time principal and teacher with Sanger Unified School District has died.
In a letter sent to the community April 15, SUSD shared the news of Washington Academic Middle School Principal Pete Muñoz’s death. Superintendent Dennis Wiechmann wrote that the district shares its condolences on Muñoz’s passing and mourns his death alongside friends, family, colleagues and students.
“Pete was not your ordinary administrator,” Wiechmann wrote. “He was a fearless advocate for his students, a champion for his teachers and a shining light within our community. … The impact he made through his kindness, unwavering support and consistent encouragement will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.”…
