MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Germantown will host its Amnesty Dumpster and Recycling Day Saturday, April 18, giving residents a chance to dispose of bulky household items and recycle materials not typically collected through regular sanitation services.
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon at two locations: the Public Services complex at 7700 Southern Ave. and Johnson Road Park at 2950 Johnson Road.
Accepted items at both sites include building materials, fencing or wire, steel poles, tires without rims, concrete, dirt, rocks, lawn mowers, bicycles, grills and propane grill tanks…
