John DeBartolomeis remembers his brother, former longtime Milford selectman Dino DeBartolomeis, as a “gentle, honest politician” who built his reputation on thoughtful involvement in the community and an unwavering willingness to help others.
“Helping people was his main goal,” John DeBartolomeis told the Daily News. “He didn’t want anything in return. If he could help a person, he felt good about it.”
