Eight people stung in bee attack in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Eight people were stung during a bee attack near Campbell and Drexel in Tucson on Friday, April 17.

The Tucson Fire Department confirmed it happened in the 5400 block of South Pine Way.

The TFD said crews were called about the attack around 6 p.m. and found a man on the ground being stung.

Crews attacked the swarm with foam. They found a hive inside a wall and sprayed it down, too.

The TFD said the eight victims came from three different homes in the area. Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation, and the other six refused treatment…
