Lubbock Animal Services share weekly metrics for April 12-17

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) have released their weekly metrics from Sunday, April 12 through Friday, April 17.

LAS reported a total of 974 phone calls, with 866 going to the front desk and 108 calls going to the field services line. LAS said they received a 31 aggressive animal calls for the week and 24 animal welfare calls. LAS stated they had 62 total adoptions for the week, including 33 dogs, 28 cats and one rabbit. LAS also took in 187 animals, leaving the current dog population at 235.
