Man injured in Southeast DC shooting, police investigating

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are investigating after a Saturday morning shooting left a man injured in Southeast D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the report of a man shot in the 2800 block of Hartford Street SE just after 4 a.m.

There, officers found a man with a gunshot wound. Responders transported him to the hospital, where he is expected to be OK.
