AUSTIN, TX — A collision shut down some of northbound I-35 in downtown Austin early Sunday morning, according to police.
The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. between Riverside Drive and Cesar Chavez Street. Officers initially reduced the roadway to one lane; the road has been reopened as of 8:30 a.m.
APD says that the crash was a single-vehicle collision, and that the passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Police say they are unsure if intoxication was a factor in the crash…
