SCHENECTADY — A police officer was allegedly hit in the face while responding to a fight in the city’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood, during which police said a teen slashed a person with a knife and broke windows of a nearby residence.
Schenectady police responded to a report of a crowded fight involving a knife on Emmett Street around noon Thursday.
Upon arrival, paramedics treated a person with a small cut around her shoulder.
