BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Happy Sunday!
We had a cold front move through central Alabama overnight, producing rain and gusty winds across the area. Rain has moved out of our area, and we remain partly to mostly cloudy shortly before noon. Clouds are still forecast to decrease and move out of our area by this afternoon.
We should end up with a mostly sunny sky today. Temperatures this afternoon should trend 15-20 degrees cooler than yesterday with highs in the upper 60s. Winds this afternoon will continue from the north at 10-20 mph.
If you have any evening plans, you’ll need a jacket as temperatures cool into the lower 60s by 8 p.m. With lower humidity and breezy conditions, the fire threat will increase across our area today and tomorrow…
