MCPS considering first school meal price hike in 12 years

A proposal on the table at Maryland’s largest school district would increase the price of school meals for the first time in 12 years.

The Montgomery County Board of Education discussed the proposal in a work session last week. Some board members had concerns about how it would impact families already struggling financially in the current economic climate.
