Two separate carjackings were reported over the weekend in Stockton’s Park District, including one in which a suspect used a firearm to steal a vehicle, police said.
In the first case, reported at 4:56 p.m. Saturday near Zephyr Street and B Street, a 48-year-old man told police he had given two people a ride before one of them pulled a gun and ordered him out of the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects — a man and a woman — drove away in his vehicle.
Later that night, around 9:30 p.m., a second carjacking was reported in the 2400 block of East Scotts Avenue. Police said a 41-year-old woman was loading items into her vehicle when a male suspect approached from behind and demanded her keys.
