Flooding forces several northeast Wisconsin schools to adjust schedules

(WFRV) – As several northeast Wisconsin communities work to bounce back after witnessing record-breaking floods, some local schools are being forced to adjust their schedules.

In Shiocton, district administration put out a letter on social media addressed to Shiocton staff and families, alerting them that schools, the Child Care Center, and the Fitness Center are all closed on Monday.

The closure comes due to water levels, travel conditions, and road closures throughout the village. The village is still looking for help battling back and cleaning up following the floods. Anyone interested in learning how to help should visit Outagamie County’s Emergency Management site.
