Ossoff looks into Ga. data centers’ impact on power bills

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff is launching an investigation into AI data centers’ potential impact on Georgians’ power bills.

Since 2019, Georgia has seen over $4.5 bililon in AI-related venture capital investments, including plans for two data centers in Columbia County, one in Richmond County and one in McDuffie County.
