DEC introduces accessibility initiatives

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The state’s Department of Environmental Conservation started Earth Week by introducing a new initiative focused on accessibility and inclusivity.

Leaders gathered at the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve in Cheektowaga on Monday to announce multiple outdoor recreation projects. They say the goal is to connect people of all abilities with the environment.
