ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) — Nonprofit crews made up of military veterans and first responders will be in the Otsego and Plainwell areas this week to help clean up after two tornadoes swept through last week.
Team Rubicon chainsaw crews will be working in the cities of Otsego and Plainwell and Chesire, Otsego and Gun Plain townships Monday through Friday. The teams will be going to sites where damage has been reported through the county’s online assessment survey or by calling 211. Properties belonging to those who are elderly, have a disability or for another reason can’t do the work themselves will get priority.
